The right slopes for me?
Excellent: Tandådalen has a good nursery area for those new to the snow and a varied selection of green runs to ensure the novice skier or snowboarder has every chance to fall in love with the mountain.
Excellent: The uncrowded slopes are a great place to improve and practice and with almost 50 blue and red runs to explore across Sälen there is plenty to keep the intermediate skier engaged.
Good: Sälen Tandådalen is a great base for the more advanced skier with a varied selection of black runs to choose from. There is also plenty off-piste skiing available for those willing to search for a challenge.
Excellent: Salen has over 200km of prepared cross-country tracks to suit all abilities.
Good: As well as access to Lindvallen’s award winning Pink Park, snowboarders in Tandådalen can explore the Super Park, Big Air Arena and Rail Park for a diverse choice of kickers, jumps and obstacles.

On the whole the resort is more lively at the weekend and during local holiday, however there are several lively bars that have a fun and welcoming après ski atmosphere. Sälen has a selection of eateries ranging from relaxed lodges and bars to a la carte and fine dining.
